The center of Athens has a lot of graffiti since the last time I was there. I guess it’s to be expected with the political situation, austerity, recession (really a depression) and anger that many people are feeling. For me, I found it very sad. In spite of this, the graffiti on a metal corrugated wall made a beautiful backdrop for the guy and girl having yogurt.
The guy and girl in the second picture probably wish they lived in the Bronx, where unemployment for people under 25 is not 55%, like it is in Greece as of June 2012.
