Milos is a volcanic island, and it shows everywhere – rock formations, caves, and cliffs. Sarakiniko on Milos is a geologically amazing place. It’s like walking on a cement moonscape next to the sea. Not a great place if you think you’re going to a beach, but interesting for its sculptural formations. It was very windy the entire time I was on Milos, so I didn’t get out on a boat to see the coastline. I did drive around and see what I could and it’s quite amazing.
